Ashish Mobile

Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters rolling up here at Ashish Mobile. We are located right on Udhna B S Marg, which stays busy from the moment the sun comes up. It is a small shop, but we manage to fit a lot into the space. The glass counters stay covered in fingerprints no matter how much we wipe them down because people are always leaning over to look at the latest accessories. You can hear the constant honking from the traffic outside on B S Marg throughout the day. We have a couple of plastic stools for people to sit on while they wait for their data to transfer or for a screen guard to be applied. The walls are lined with those pegboards holding all sorts of cables and cases. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but the ceiling fan keeps things moving. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs, just the usual stuff you expect in a neighborhood phone shop. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the regulars who stop by for a quick recharge. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so cleaning is a never-ending job. We keep our tools in a small drawer behind the counter that only we know how to open correctly. It is just a normal place where we work every day, trying to help people with their gadgets without making a big fuss about it. We close up when it gets dark and the street noise finally settles.
