Arvind Telecom

Arvind Telecom is located at 102 Sachin Relief Road. It’s a busy street, so there’s always something happening outside. We handle a lot of recharges and phone repairs. I’ve been here for a good amount of time. People bring in their phones when they won’t turn on or if the speaker sounds funny. It’s a lot of sitting at a desk with small screws and a magnifying glass. My hands get a bit cramped by the end of the day. We also sell SIM cards and those small data packs. It’s a simple setup. Not much room for chairs, so people usually stand while they wait. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic over the years. We keep the shop open late most nights because that's when people get off work and realize their phone is acting up. We see a lot of the same people from the factories nearby. They need their phones to stay in touch with family. We do what we can to help. Sometimes a repair is easy, sometimes it's a headache. We don’t promise miracles. If it’s broken beyond fixing, we just say so. It’s better to be honest. Sachin Relief Road is a good place to be. There’s always someone needing something for their mobile. I usually eat my lunch right at the desk between repairs to keep things moving along.
