We have been running this small shop at Vareli Woodland Co Operative Housing Society for quite a few years now. It is a quiet enough spot most of the day until the school bells ring or people get back from their factory shifts nearby. We mostly handle mobile repairs and sell some basic electronic items like bulbs, wires, and chargers. If your screen is cracked or your battery is dying, you bring it here and we see what we can do. Usually, it takes a day or two if we have to order a specific part from the city center. It’s not a big fancy showroom with glass walls. We just have a couple of counters and some stools for you to sit on while we talk. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can't process the recharges right away, which is frustrating for everyone. My brother helps out in the evenings when it gets crowded. We know most of the families living in the society by name. It’s nice to be part of the neighborhood like this. We don’t do much advertising. People just find us by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. The shelves are a bit disorganized sometimes because we get so many small parts in, but we know where everything is kept. The light inside isn't the best, but it's enough to see the small screws. It is just a simple way to make a living and help people stay connected with their gadgets. We don't mind the long hours as long as we can keep things moving for our neighbors.
