You can find Angarika Digi Tex Private Limited over at Plot No. 352 and 353 in the GIDC area of Sachin. Sachin is a busy part of Surat, specifically in the Chorasi taluka. This part of town is basically all industry, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the factories. We have two plots joined together which gives us enough room to keep our digital textile equipment running. It is a bit of a maze in the GIDC sometimes with all the small lanes and different units tucked away. We’ve been at this address for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. The power stays on most of the time which is good for the machines. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there, we just want to do our job at P.NO.352 and 353 and go home at the end of the day. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a small family unit because we see the same faces every day. The work is mostly digital printing on fabrics, which keeps us busy enough that we don't have time for much else. Living and working in Surat means you are always surrounded by textiles, and Sachin is right in the middle of that world. It’s just how things are here. We have a few desks in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the space is for the production. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is located.
