Amrut Selection

At Amrut Selection in Salabatpura, we’ve been doing this for several years. Salabatpura is a tight-knit place and we know most of the people who walk through our door. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular storefront with our name on it. We carry a bit of everything when it comes to phones and accessories. The shelves are usually packed tight because we try to have what people ask for. It gets a bit dusty being near the street, so we’re always wiping things down. I usually start the day with a cup of tea and look over what needs to be fixed from the day before. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big marketing team. It's just us working here every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back, talking to whoever is in the shop. It’s a very local feel. We don't use any high-tech systems for our inventory, just a notebook and some pens. It works for us. People in Salabatpura seem to appreciate that we’re straightforward about what we can do. We don't promise things we can't deliver. It’s just a honest way to run a business. If the shop is crowded, it gets a bit warm, but nobody seems to mind much. We just keep at it day after day. The bell on the door rings every time someone enters, and that’s a sound I’ve gotten very used to. It's a busy life but it's okay.
