Aim

The shop we call Aim is located right by the Ring Road Ambedkar Circle Road. It’s a very busy spot to be in, honestly. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside, which you just get used to after a week or two of working here. We mostly handle day-to-day things that people in this neighborhood need. It isn't a massive operation or anything like that. Just a few of us making sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who walk past every morning. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a bit, which makes things interesting. We try to keep the place tidy, but it's hard when you're busy with customers and paperwork at the same time. The Ring Road area stays active until late, so we usually don't close up until the sun is well down. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, with new buildings going up around Ambedkar Circle, but we just keep doing our thing. It's practical work and it keeps us on our feet. We don't have any fancy signs or anything, just the name on the front so people know they've found the right place. Most of our business comes from folks just walking in while they're out running their own errands.
