Aim Communication

You can find Aim Communication on Varachha Road, specifically in Sant Gadge Maharaj Lane at number 244. It’s a narrow lane, and finding parking for a car is nearly impossible, so most people just come on foot or bikes. We do a lot of recharges and SIM card registrations. It’s a small space, barely enough for three people to stand comfortably. I’ve been working here for years, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We have a lot of posters for different mobile networks stuck everywhere to cover the marks. It’s not a glamorous job, sitting behind a desk all day. People come in when their internet stops working or they lose their phone. They’re often frustrated, so we just try to help them out as best as we can. We also sell some basic headphones and cables. Those things break so easily, so we try to stock the ones that last a bit longer. The fan overhead hums quite loudly, making it hard to hear sometimes. During the holidays, the lane gets incredibly crowded with processions and shoppers. We just keep the shutters half-up then. It's a busy life on Varachha Road. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to make sure the person walking in gets their phone problem sorted so they can go about their day.
