Active Traders

Active Traders has been on A K Road for quite a while now. We set up here in Vyalikaval because it’s where we live and it just made sense. It’s not a huge place, just a simple shop where we keep our stock and handle things. Most days it’s pretty quiet until the afternoon rolls around. We mostly deal with trading different items people in the area need. It isn’t fancy at all. There’s a desk in the corner and boxes stacked up against the back wall. Sometimes the door sticks when it rains, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. People know us around the 1st Main. We aren't trying to do anything groundbreaking, just running the business and making sure things get where they need to go. If you walk past the bakery, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors or drinking tea while waiting for deliveries. Running a trade business like this means some days are totally packed with phone calls and other days you’re just sitting there dusting the shelves. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how things work. Vyalikaval is a good spot for us. It feels like home and the commute is basically zero. That’s how we like it. We keep track of everything in a big ledger because computers can be a headache sometimes. It’s just us doing our thing and keeping the doors open.
