Acrylic Art & Gift

We've been here at Gayatri Timber on Vastadevadi Road for a while now. Acrylic Art & Gift is just a small place in Katargam where we spend most of our days working with plastic sheets and making things for people to give as presents. It gets pretty dusty around here with all the timber shops nearby, but we like the neighborhood. Sometimes the machines are loud and the floor is covered in scraps, but that is just how it goes when you are making stuff. We started out small and stayed that way because it is easier to keep track of what is happening. If you walk down Vastadevadi Road, you will find us easily enough. We handle a lot of different requests, some simple and some that take a bit more thinking. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a workshop where we get things done. People come in with an idea, and we see if we can cut it or glue it together for them. We use a lot of acrylic obviously. The traffic on the road can be a bit much in the evenings, but it's okay. We usually have some tea and keep working until the sun goes down. Most of our tools have been with us since the start. We don't change things much unless we have to. It's just us here, working every day and trying to make sure the measurements are right before we cut anything.
