We spend most of our time here at Plot No- 44 in Govardhan Nagar-1. It's usually pretty busy around Rami Park, especially with the traffic coming off Godadara Road. Most days we are just buried in work, dealing with the machines and trying to get everything lined up right. Dindoli is a loud place but it's where we've been for a while now. My hands are usually stained with something or other. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there waiting, talking about nothing in particular. It isn't a fancy office. There are scraps of material in the corners and the desk is covered in old invoices. People walk in and out all day. Sometimes they're looking for us, sometimes they're just lost. We have a small kettle for tea which gets used a lot more than the computer sometimes. My cousin helps out when things get too hectic. The sign outside is a bit faded now, which is funny when you think about what we do here. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We don't really do much besides the work. It’s just the daily routine of opening up, checking the orders, and making sure the lights are working. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a fan that makes a clicking noise. It's been clicking for three years. We just keep going because that's what you do. No one here wears a suit. Just regular clothes that we don't mind getting dirty.
