Nakalang Art

Nakalang Art is situated in Shop No. Ug-7 at the Shivam Complex. We are on the road that connects Puna to Sitanagar, right beside the Puna Bus-Stand in Punagam. Because we are so close to the bus stand, there is always a lot of movement and noise around the shop. It’s a busy part of Punagam, but we’ve grown to like the constant activity. Our shop is on the upper ground level of the complex. It’s a functional space where we keep all our art supplies and equipment. We don't have any fancy decorations or a lounge for visitors. It is just a place to get work done. We have been here for quite some time now. Most of the people who come in are locals who are either taking the bus or live in the neighborhood. We don't use any complicated business jargon. We just talk to people like neighbors. Running a shop like this means you have to be practical. Some days are very busy and we are working flat out, while other days are a bit slower. We don't mind either way. Having the Shivam Complex as our home base is good because it’s a well-known building in the area. We just focus on our art and keep the business running without any fuss. It’s a regular, hardworking shop in a busy part of town.
