Rohit Painter

I started Rohit Painter at Plot No.78, in the Jay Hari Row House area near Adajan Pal Road. If you are looking for us, we are right besides the L P Savani Cng Pump. Most people know the spot because of the Rameshwar Street nearby. I’ve been painting for a long time, and this place serves as my base. It’s a row house, so it’s not like a big commercial showroom or anything. It’s where I keep my ladders, my brushes, and all the different tins of paint I’ve collected over the months. I spend most of my time out at people’s houses or shops, actually doing the work. My hands are almost always covered in some kind of color. I don't have a fancy website or a secretary. Usually, someone calls me, or they just drop by the house to ask if I can paint a wall or a sign for them. I like the work because I get to see different parts of Adajan Road every day. It’s honest labor. I don’t make big promises, I just show up and do the painting until it looks right. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, so I stay at the plot and organize my gear. It’s a simple life, and I’ve lived in this neighborhood long enough to know most of the faces passing by.
