Sloak Fire Safety Corporation

Sloak Fire Safety Corporation is situated near Lal Darwaja at the Char Rassta. Our building is on Rampura Road, very close to the Khodyar Mata Mandir. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always the sound of honking and people shouting. We can hear the temple bells ringing during the morning and evening aarti, which is a nice break from the traffic noise. Our shop is easy to spot once you get to the crossroads. We keep a lot of our heavy equipment right near the entrance because it’s easier to load onto the trucks that way. The interior is mostly just rows of shelves and a small area where we handle the billing. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of working, but it suits us. We don’t use much technology beyond what’s necessary. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and talking to local contractors who need supplies. The dust from the road is a bit of a problem, so we’re constantly wiping down the counters. It’s a family-run feel here, even if we aren’t all related. We’ve got a small bench outside where we sit sometimes in the evening when the heat dies down. People in the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello on their way to the temple. It’s a community vibe more than anything else. We just try to stay busy and keep things moving every day.
