Our office is located at C-1203 in The Bluebell building. If you know where Maharaja Farm is in Mota Varachha, then we are right nearby. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to the main city center, which is nice for getting things done. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the textile and weaving side of things. It’s mostly about coordinating between different people and making sure the looms stay busy. The office has a lot of natural light coming in from the windows, which helps since we spend so many hours inside. We have a few computers and a big table where we spread out fabric samples or look over drawings. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We just have what we need to keep the association running. Sometimes members drop by to talk about the latest issues with production or just to have a cup of chai. We try to keep a relaxed atmosphere here. There’s no strict dress code or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. Mota Varachha is growing fast, and you can see new buildings going up all around us. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s a practical workspace for practical people who know how the weaving industry actually functions on the ground level.
