Aakash Communication

Aakash Communication has been sitting here in Katargam Vijay Nagar for a decent bit of time. It is a busy area and our shop is right in the thick of it. Mostly we deal with mobile phones and simple recharges. People drop in because they cracked a screen or their battery finally gave up. We are not doing anything fancy here. We just fix things and sell basic accessories like chargers and covers. The shop is small and the old fan on the wall makes a bit of noise, but it stays cool enough for us to work. We see a lot of the same faces every single week. People come in for a quick chat while they wait for their mobile top-up to go through. I have lived around this part of town my whole life, so I know most of the families nearby. Sometimes the kids come in asking for the latest bright covers for their phones. We try to keep a decent variety in stock, but space is pretty tight on the shelves. It is a lot of work keeping track of all the different phone models coming out every month. My cousin helps me with the technical repairs when the shop gets crowded. We have a small wooden bench in the back for soldering. It stays a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We just do our job and go home to our families.
