Larsen & Toubro Ltd

We are situated in Fertilizer Town, which is over in Rourkela. This is a very industrial part of the Sundargarh district in Orissa. Our office for Larsen & Toubro Ltd is at C/115. It’s a place that feels very connected to the work that goes on in this town. You can tell this is a working man's area just by looking around. Our office is simple and functional. We have what we need to get the job done and not much else. There’s a lot of dust from the nearby industries, so we are always cleaning our desks. It’s part of the routine here. We spend our days looking at plans and making sure the local operations are running like they should. It’s not a flashy job, but it is important to us. Most of the staff here have lived in Rourkela for a long time, so we know the area well. We talk about the local news and how the weather is changing while we work. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't use big words or try to act like we are better than anyone else. We are just a group of people working in Fertilizer Town. When the shift is over, we head out and see the same faces every day. It’s a steady life and we are just glad to be a part of it here in Orissa.
