Urmin Food Products Pvt. Ltd. is located in the Qasba'S Mayer Building over at Syed Ali Akber Fateh Kadal. It is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and it can be a real challenge to get things moved in and out. The building itself has a lot of history, and our office inside is mostly filled with desks, computers, and bags of different food products we are working with. We spend a lot of our time checking the batches and talking to the people who supply us with the raw materials. It is a noisy place sometimes, especially when the local market is in full swing outside. We have a few people in the back who handle the packaging and making sure everything is sealed up right. We are not some massive corporation with shiny glass walls. It is more of a local operation where we all know each other’s names. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don’t have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just focus on getting the food items ready for the people who buy from us. The stairs in the building are a bit steep, but we are used to them by now. It is just a regular workplace where we show up, do what needs doing, and then head home.
