Our spot is right at Chow Saida Kadal, which is a place that stays pretty active throughout the day. If you’ve spent any time around here, you know how the traffic flows near the water and the bridge. We operate Hemkant Exports from this corner, and the setup we have is fairly straightforward. There isn’t much to the building other than it being the place where we handle all our daily work. It is a local kind of spot where everyone knows the landmarks. You won't see any big corporate banners or anything like that hanging outside our door. Usually, we are just seen coming and going throughout the morning hours. The area has a lot of history, and you can definitely feel that when you walk around the chowk. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we’ve gotten used to the sounds of the neighborhood over the years. Inside, we keep our space simple. There are enough chairs for everyone and plenty of room for the paperwork we deal with. Sometimes when the weather is nice, the breeze from the water nearby makes things a lot more pleasant. Mostly, we just focus on getting through the tasks at hand. It’s a busy environment, but it suits us just fine. Most people who come by are local, so they don’t need much help finding us once they get to Saida Kadal. The address is just part of our identity and we have been here for a long time.
