Pristine

Being over here at Sir Syed Market in Gogji Bagh, things usually get moving pretty early. We’ve been at Pristine for a while now, and the routine doesn’t change much from one day to the next. You see the same faces every morning when the local shops start opening up their shutters. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular spot where we get our work done. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially when people are rushing around the market area, but we’re used to the noise by now. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling the daily tasks that come up. We don’t really have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything stays in order. The building isn't the newest one on the block, but it serves us well enough for what we do. On rainy days, the water pools a bit near the entrance, and we have to keep an eye on that so nobody slips. Gogji Bagh has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become part of the background here. We spend a lot of time just organizing things and talking to whoever drops by for a bit. It’s a simple setup really. There isn’t much to say about the history or anything like that; we just showed up one day and kept coming back. Most of our day is spent looking out the window at the street or checking our lists. It’s steady work and we like being in this part of town.
