Mukhtar Ahmad Khnaday

My name is Mukhtar Ahmad Khnaday and my workplace is right here in Meej Pampore. I have been at this location for a long time, and I have seen the neighborhood in Pulwama change quite a bit over the years. Even though things change, my way of working stays pretty much the same. I wake up early, head over to the address in 192121, and start sorting through whatever is waiting for me. It is not a corporate setup with a receptionist or a waiting room. It is just a workspace where I can focus on the tasks at hand. People in Pampore know me as a quiet guy who gets things done. I don't really bother with advertising or trying to look bigger than I am. If someone needs me, they know exactly where to find the building in Meej. The walls are a bit faded and the floor has some scuffs from years of people walking in and out, but it feels like home to me. I keep a small stove for making tea, and there is usually a stack of old newspapers in the corner. Sometimes my cousins or friends drop by to talk for a bit, which is nice when the day is long. We don't have a big mission or anything. We just try to do our work properly and stay honest with the people we meet every day. It is a simple life in a simple place.
