Jamie Merchantile

The shop is located at number 28 in the Industrial Extension Area of Baghi Ali Mardan Khan. It's not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with Nowshera, but once you get into the industrial zone, it’s just one of the many units lined up along the road. Jamie Merchantile has been operating from here for a while. We aren't a huge corporation with a lot of departments. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the mercantile side of things keeps ticking over. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the day-to-day tasks to worry about that. Being in an industrial area means there is always noise from trucks and other workshops nearby. It is a working environment through and through. We deal with various goods and handle the logistics from this small office and warehouse space. Nothing here is for show. We have our desks, our ledgers, and the inventory stacked up where it fits. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking shipments. It’s a quiet kind of busy. We like the location because it’s practical for getting things in and out. If you walk down the lane, you’ll see we are just another part of the local trade community here. We keep things simple and try to stay organized, even when the paperwork starts piling up on the old wooden tables. It is just the way we do things here.
