We are located in the Rajbagh area of Srinagar, right in the heart of the 190001 zip code. Royal Deccan is a name we’ve used for a while now. Srinagar is a unique place to run a business because the seasons change everything. When it’s cold, we have to make sure the heating is working right, and when it’s nice out, everyone is outside. Our building isn't anything modern or flashy. It’s just a regular spot where we do our work every day. We don't have a big team of people. It’s mostly just a few of us who have lived here our whole lives. We handle everything from the cleaning to the paperwork. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s what we know. We don't go in for all that corporate talk you see online these days. We just want to do a decent job and stay in business. The Rajbagh neighborhood is usually pretty calm, though things can get busy near the main roads. We spend our mornings getting everything ready for the day ahead. Sometimes we sit out front for a bit if there's a lull in the work. It’s a steady life. We’ve seen other businesses come and go, but we just keep doing what we do. There’s no secret to it, just showing up and putting in the hours.
