Khadeem Al Madina

We've been at the King Building on Residency Road for a while now. It's on the second floor, right near the Residency Mall area in Lal Chowk. Srinagar is busy, especially this part of town, so finding us isn't always easy if you're not looking. Khadeem Al Madina is just a small office where we handle things day to day. We spend most of our time talking to people who walk in or calling up folks to get things sorted. It gets noisy outside with all the traffic on Residency Road, but inside it's quiet enough to work. We don't have fancy furniture or anything, just some desks and chairs for whoever stops by. Most people know us from around the neighborhood. We try to keep things simple here. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, like it does in Srinagar, but we manage. If you are coming from the mall, we are just a short walk away. We've seen a lot of changes in Lal Chowk over the years. The building is older but it serves its purpose. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. There isn't much more to say than that. We just do what we do and try to help people out when they need something done. It’s a basic setup but it works for us and the people who come to see us.
