Being located in Habba Kadal gives our work a different feel. We are right there in Badyar, near Basant Bagh, which is a busy, old part of Srinagar. Geonical It Solutions Private Limited isn't located in some glass tower; we are right in the middle of the local life. The streets are narrow and there’s always something happening outside the window. We deal with IT stuff all day long, mostly solving problems that pop up for our clients. Some days are slow, especially when the weather is bad, but mostly we are just grinding away at our keyboards. We have been in this 190001 area for a bit and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s not a polished environment. There are wires everywhere and stacks of old hard drives in the corner. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations. We just need our machines to work. If someone drops by, we usually have a spare chair and a bit of time to talk about what needs fixing. It’s just a group of us trying to make a living doing tech work in the city. The noise from the market nearby keeps us awake during the afternoons. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do. It’s a practical way to run a business in Habba Kadal, even if it gets a bit chaotic sometimes.
