Works Manager

Our office is tucked away in Dewan Colony, Ishber Nishat. Being here in Srinagar, especially in the 191121 area, means we get to see the mountains every day when we step outside. Works Manager isn't a huge firm with many branches. We are just a local operation based right here near Nishat. The winters can be tough when the snow piles up in the colony, and we sometimes have to huddle around the heater to keep our fingers moving. It’s a simple space with a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on managing the daily workload that comes our way. The people around here are friendly, and we often have tea with the neighbors. It’s a slow-paced life in some ways, but we stay busy enough. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the work gets done correctly. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait it out, but that’s just part of living in Kashmir. We’ve been in Dewan Colony for quite some time now and feel like we belong here. We aren't looking to move to some fancy commercial park. This spot works for us, and it’s where we feel most comfortable. It’s just a regular office run by regular people who know the local ways.
