Operator

My shop is called Operator, and you can find us in Urdu Bazar, right near Fateh Kadal in Srinagar. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and full of life. I’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now. We handle various tasks that come our way, mostly just being a point of contact for local needs. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy at all. I have a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait for their turn. The noise from the bazaar is always there in the background, which I kind of like. It makes the day go by faster and keeps things interesting. I’m usually here from morning until the sun goes down and the shops start to close. Sometimes my friends stop by for tea, and we just chat while I work on whatever is in front of me. It’s a local business through and through. I don't use big words or have a big staff to manage. It’s just me and the occasional help when things get really busy. The building is old, like most things around Fateh Kadal, but it stays cool enough in the summer months. I like being in Urdu Bazar because everyone knows everyone else. If you need something handled or just want to see how we run things, you just walk in. There’s no need for an appointment. We just do what we do.
