G N Baru is based over at the Fruit Mandi in Parimpora, Srinagar. If you know the area, you know the mandi is a very active place with a lot going on. Our address is 190017, and we have been operating from here for quite some time. The energy of the fruit market is something you get used to after a while. It’s all about the daily arrivals and the hustle of the market. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because people mostly know us from being here every day. It’s a straightforward business. We deal with what comes in and what goes out. Srinagar is a beautiful place, but the work in the mandi is real and demanding. We don't have a shiny office or a big staff. It is just us, working the same way we always have. Sometimes the mornings are very early and quite cold, but that is part of the job. We have built up a lot of connections with other people in Parimpora over the years. It feels more like a community than just a place of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to stay consistent and do our part in the market. If you are ever down at the Fruit Mandi, you will likely run into us. That is basically who we are and what we do.
