Fayaz Ahmad Mir

Running things here in Laderbal Pampore is what I do every day. My name is Fayaz Ahmad Mir, and you can usually find me right at my place in Pulwama. It is a busy little area, especially during the harvest season when the whole town seems to wake up at once. I’ve got my routine down pretty well after all these years. I wake up, have my tea, and get straight to work. There isn't much to say about the business other than it is just what I do. I don’t use any big words to describe it. People know where I am and what I do, and that is enough for me. The address in Laderbal is easy to find if you know the area even a little bit. I have seen many people come and go, but I like staying put. The walls of my shop have seen many winters and summers. I don't really have a big staff, maybe just a hand when things get really crowded, but I prefer doing most of it myself. It keeps me active and keeps me connected to the people around here. Pulwama is home, and Laderbal is the heart of it for me. I just keep my head down and work hard. There is always something that needs fixing or someone who needs help with something, and I’m just happy to be the person they come to. It is a good way to live.
