Bgu It Solutions Private Limited is based on the first floor of E-3 in the Parimpore Fruit Mandi in Srinagar. If you’ve ever been to the Mandi, you know it’s a whirlwind of activity. There are crates of fruit being moved, people shouting, and trucks coming and going at all hours. We are right in the middle of all that. It’s an interesting place for an IT company, but we like the energy of the market. Our office space is actually quite calm compared to what’s happening just outside the windows. We had to do a bit of work to get the place ready when we first moved in, mainly cleaning up and getting the wiring right for our computers. The floor is a bit uneven in places, and the stairs are steep, but it works for us. We have a small team, and we usually sit around a big table we found locally. The smell of fresh fruit is always in the air, which isn’t a bad thing at all. We don’t have any formal meetings or anything like that. If something needs to be discussed, we just talk across the room. It’s a very direct way of working. Most days involve a lot of screen time and several cups of Kahwa. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity; we’re just a local outfit doing our thing in a very busy part of Srinagar. We often end up staying quite late.
