Rama Krishna Slabs & Tiles

We opened up here on K.T. Road a while back. Kasibugga is a busy place, and there’s always something going on outside the shop at 12/2L, 142. Most days start with us moving slabs around to make space. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the trucks come in to drop off new stock. We have all kinds of tiles piled up. Some people come in knowing exactly what they want for their floors, but others just walk around looking at the patterns for an hour. The sun hits the front of the building quite hard in the afternoons. Sometimes the fans inside don't do much, so we just keep the doors open. We've got a small crew here. Everyone knows where the different sizes are kept, even if the yard looks a bit messy to an outsider. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. My back usually aches by five o'clock. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a specific count of tiles, we count them out, pack them up, and help load them onto their transport. It's just regular work. Nothing fancy about the way we run things. We see neighbors and builders stopping by. Sometimes we just sit and have tea while waiting for a delivery. It’s just how it goes here in this part of town. We’ve seen the road change a bit over the years, but the shop stays mostly the same.
