S.S.S.Convent School

We have been here in Udyog Vihar for a while now. Most people know this part of Sri Ganganagar for the factories and the RIICO area, but right here at 11 L N P, we run S.S.S. Convent School. It is not a fancy place with glass walls or anything. We have got classrooms that get a bit dusty when the wind blows through Rajasthan, but that is just how it is. Every morning, you see the yellow buses pulling in and parents dropping off their kids on motorbikes. It gets quite busy around the gate at eight. The teachers usually show up a bit early to get things ready. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids are actually paying attention and not just looking out at the industrial area. There is a lot of noise from the nearby units sometimes, but we all just get used to it. The playground isn't huge, but the children seem to make the most of it during the break. We focus on getting through the books and making sure everyone understands their lessons before the exams come around. It is a lot of hard work for the staff, especially in the peak summer heat here in Ganganagar. We just keep the fans going and try to keep everyone cool. It is just a normal school where we try to do right by the local families who trust us with their children.
