Govt Senior Secondary School

This is the government school located at 11, Raisingh Nagar. Since it is a state-run place, we follow all the official rules and the government calendar very strictly. The building itself is an older one, with thick walls and high ceilings that help a bit when the heat gets bad in Sri Ganganagar during the summer. We have quite a few students because it is a public school. The classrooms are filled with wooden benches that have been there for many years. We do our best with what we have on hand. There are teachers for all the main subjects. The morning assembly is held out in the open yard. You can hear the kids singing their prayers from down the street most days. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place for the town. We handle the senior secondary levels, so the older teenagers are the ones you see walking around the most. They are usually worried about their board exams this time of year. We provide the textbooks and try to keep the office records straight for everyone. It is a lot of paperwork sometimes. The location is easy to find if you are in Raisingh Nagar. Most of the families around here have had at least one kid go through this school at some point. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood. We don't have any fancy equipment, but we have the basics covered for the students who come here every day.
