Our school is located right on NH-5 in Venkatachalam, which is part of Nellore. We have two main sections here, the Geethanjali and Shatiniketan blocks. It’s a fairly large setup because we have a lot of students coming from the surrounding areas. Being near the highway means it’s easy for the buses to get in and out, though it can get a bit noisy with the trucks passing by all day. We spend most of our time making sure the classrooms are ready and that the kids are actually studying. There’s always something to fix, whether it’s a leaky tap or a broken desk, so we stay busy. The teachers handle the lessons while the rest of us look after the grounds and the admin work. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular school where people come to work and kids come to learn. We see a lot of the same faces every day, and after a while, you get to know the families. The Geethanjali block is usually buzzing with the younger ones while the older students are over in Shatiniketan. It’s a routine that works for us. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for education here in Nellore. The days go by fast when you have hundreds of students to look after, but we manage. We just keep the gates open and keep moving.
