Sree Vivekananda High School

Down in Gudur, at Malavya Nagar, you will find Sree Vivekananda High School. Our door number is 1-312-2. It’s a straightforward place, really. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite a while now. The school building is simple and practical, built to handle the daily rush of students. We don't have any shiny brochures or polished speeches for visitors. We just open up early in the morning, sweep the floors, and get ready for the day. Malavyanagar is a quiet enough area, but the school brings a lot of life to it. Our teachers are mostly people who have lived in Gudur their whole lives. They know the families and the kids very well. We spend our days going from one classroom to another, checking on the lessons. The benches are a bit old and sometimes the desks get a bit wobbly, but we have a guy who comes in to fix them when needed. There’s a lot of laughter during the lunch hour and a lot of running around in the halls. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just want to provide a place where the kids can come and learn their lessons every day. It’s a lot of work to keep it all going, especially when it’s hot outside, but we manage just fine. People in Gudur know where we are if they need us. It's just a regular school with regular people.
