Our office is over in Dwarka, specifically in the DDA Flats in Sector-19. We are in Pocket-2, at Flat number 151. If you know the DDA layouts in Delhi, you can picture exactly what it looks like. It’s a standard residential complex, and we use this flat as our main base of operations. It’s a bit of a maze to find the right staircase sometimes, especially for people visiting for the first time, but once you’re inside, it’s a pretty functional space. We’ve got the rooms set up with desks and all the necessary equipment for our daily work. It feels very much like a home-turned-office, which we actually like because it’s not as stiff as a glass building. We can see the common park from the windows, and there’s always the sound of people moving around the complex or kids playing. The commute to Dwarka is okay for most of us, though the Metro gets really crowded during the peak times. We spend our time here dealing with the project details and keeping the records straight. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and we’re usually all busy at our desks with our heads down. It’s a simple, honest way to run the office, and it works well for the type of technical work we handle every day. We usually finish up by six and lock up for the evening.
