Asst. Project Engineer

I spend most of my days here at Rzf-10A in Sadh Nagar. It’s a busy part of Palam Colony and things get pretty loud outside on Street Number 22. Being an assistant project engineer means my desk is usually covered in drawings and notes about whatever project is currently on the go. It’s not a fancy office. It’s just where the work happens. Sometimes the power cuts out or the traffic makes it hard to hear on the phone, but we just get on with it. My job involves a lot of checking over details and making sure the site guys have what they need. I’ve been in this part of New Delhi for a while now. The neighborhood has everything you need if you walk down the road. I usually grab tea from the stall nearby when the afternoon slump hits. It is a bit cramped in here with all the files stacked up, but it works for us. We don’t really do much besides the actual engineering stuff. People drop by with papers or to ask about progress. It’s just a normal workplace. Nothing too special to look at from the outside. Just a door on a busy street where we try to keep the projects moving forward without too many mistakes. Delhi gets really hot in the summer and the small fan in the corner barely helps, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, but we still make it in.
