Metlife Insurance

The office is tucked away at Wz-1598/R-2 in the Nangal Raya area of New Delhi. It’s a bit of a maze to find if you aren’t from around here, but once you see the sign for Metlife Insurance, you know you're in the right place. We deal with insurance papers all day long. It isn't the most exciting work, but it’s what we do. The desks are usually covered in folders and policy documents that need signing or filing. People walk in with a lot of questions about their plans, and we just sit down and try to explain things in a way that makes sense. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk here. Most of the staff has been living in Delhi for years, so we know how things work. The building itself is older, and the stairs can be a bit narrow, but it serves its purpose. We keep a cooler in the corner for the summer months, and that’s where everyone gathers for a chat. It’s a small team, so we all know each other’s business and help out when someone gets bogged down with paperwork. There’s no big corporate vibe in this office. We just drink our chai, answer the phones, and make sure the records are kept straight for everyone who relies on us. Sometimes the printer jams and we all have to take a minute to fix it, but we get there eventually.
