Our office for Grant Thornton India is tucked away in Sector 8 of R K Puram. The address is N-151, right in the middle of a pretty active part of New Delhi. It isn't one of those glass skyscrapers you see in the movies, it’s a more grounded place. We have our desks and our computers and we mostly just focus on the numbers and the paperwork that comes through. Delhi gets really hot in the middle of the year, so we’re thankful for the air conditioning inside N-151. People often get a bit confused finding the exact sector sometimes, but once you’re here, it’s a decent spot to spend the workday. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or fancy coffee machines. We just make sure the work gets finished on time. Most of us take the bus or drive in from different parts of the city. R K Puram is a familiar neighborhood for a lot of the staff. It feels like a real community around here, not just a bunch of offices. We’ve got the local shops nearby where we grab a quick snack. It’s a basic, functional environment. We don't spend much time thinking about corporate image, we just think about the next project and getting home to our families after the shift ends. It’s just Grant Thornton India doing its thing in New Delhi. We've been here for a while and we know the neighborhood routines.
