Mehrauli is one of those places in Delhi where you can get lost if you don’t know the turns, and we are right in the middle of it at Ward No 3. Our office is a simple setup where we spend our days looking through piles of resumes and talking to people who are looking for work. It isn't a polished corporate environment with leather chairs. We have some basic desks and a few old computers that hum a bit too loudly. Most of our day is just spent making calls and trying to match people with the right roles. It can get a bit hectic when the local market is busy outside, and the sounds of the street are always there in the background. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the weather or the news between tasks. The walls have a few scuffs, and the files are stacked a bit high, but we know where everything is. It’s just a small team of us trying to stay on top of the daily grind in this historic part of the city. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us by name, which is nice. It is just a normal, busy office.
