This office is located at 16/307 in Cariappa Vihar, which is right in the heart of Delhi Cantt. Being in the Cantonment area means everything is very orderly and clean compared to the rest of the city. It’s a lot quieter here, and you see a lot of trees and open spaces. Indian Army has been using this spot for a variety of administrative tasks for quite some time. It’s not a high-profile building, just a regular part of the quarters here. Inside, the furniture is functional and has been there for a long time. Everything has its place, and we try to keep it that way. Most of the work involves keeping track of records and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s important. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or big meeting rooms. We just have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and the daily schedule. The atmosphere is professional but relaxed in its own way because we all know what needs to be done. You can hear the drills or the vehicles moving in the distance, which reminds you where you are. We don’t really talk about ourselves much; we just focus on the assignments we get. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life here in Cariappa Vihar. We just do our jobs and keep things moving forward according to the rules and the clock. There is a sense of duty in every small task we handle here, day after day.
