We started Asiapower Overseas Employment Services a while back and we are tucked away in Nanakpura, right at A2 / Dii. It’s a busy area in New Delhi and our office is usually full of people looking for a way to get work in other countries. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and a lot of folders. Most days we are just sorting through paperwork and talking to people on the phone. The street outside can get pretty loud with the traffic and people walking by. We’ve been at this address for some time now and most of the locals know where to find us. Getting people jobs overseas involves a lot of back and forth with different offices. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in Delhi. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and getting through the stack of applications that come in. It’s straightforward work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help people get their documents in order so they can move for work. If you come by the Nanakpura office, you’ll probably see us just sitting there at the desks. It’s a practical setup and we like it that way. No big corporate meetings, just a few of us making sure everything is filed correctly and the phones are answered.
