Uncle Motor Driving School

We started Uncle Motor Driving School out here in Chinchinim because we saw so many people struggling to get their license. House No 290 is where we operate from, right in Securem Vaddo. It’s a quiet spot in Goa, which is good for beginners who get nervous on the main roads. My neighbor actually asked me why I didn't just teach the whole village, so that's how it began. We use the local streets to teach people how to handle a car without panic. It’s not a big fancy office, just a place where you can come and talk about learning to drive. Sometimes the cars need a bit of work, but they run fine and get the job done. We spend a lot of time near the house practicing reverse parking and checking mirrors. Goa traffic can be tricky, so we focus on staying calm and watching the bikes. If you live around Securem Vaddo, you’ve probably seen us driving slowly past at odd hours. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the roads well. It's a simple setup, really. We keep the paperwork in the front room and go from there. Learning to drive shouldn't be scary, so we try to keep things relaxed. People stop by House No 290 all the time to ask about classes or just to chat about the roads. We just tell them to hop in and see how they feel behind the wheel. It's just a local thing we do to help the community get around safely without any fuss.
