Rosary College

Navelim is where we are based, just a little ways out from Margao in the Salcette part of Goa. Most people who live around here are familiar with the college building. It isn't some fancy modern glass structure; it is more of a practical place that has been part of the community for quite a while. We get a lot of students coming in from the nearby villages every morning. Some take the local buses and others ride their bikes through the humidity. The atmosphere inside is usually pretty relaxed, though it gets busy when exams are coming up. You’ll see students hanging out in the hallways or sitting under the trees in the courtyard during their free time. We don’t really do big marketing campaigns or anything like that. The office is usually full of stacks of paper and people waiting to get their forms signed. It feels like a real place where people are just trying to get through their courses. The fans are always going because of the heat, and there’s a constant hum of chatter from the classrooms. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a nice enough spot once you’re here. We just focus on the daily routine of lectures and making sure the registers are up to date. It’s not flashy, but it works for everyone involved.
