We are the Govt Higher Sec School located out in Narayan Nagar Honda. If you’re looking for us, we’re reached via Sanquelim in the Sattari area of Goa, and our mail goes to the P.O. Box in Pratap Nagar. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the busier towns, but it gets plenty lively once the students arrive in the morning. Being a government school for higher secondary levels, we have students coming in for their final years of schooling from all the nearby villages. The building itself is pretty plain, just a bunch of classrooms and a small office where we handle the admissions and all the files. It’s not the most modern place you’ll ever see, and sometimes we have to deal with things like leaky taps or fans that squeak, but we make do. The staff here are just regular teachers who have been in the system for years and know how to manage a classroom full of teenagers. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing slogans plastered on the walls. It’s just about getting through the syllabus and helping the kids get their certificates so they can move on to college or work. You’ll often find a few of us standing outside near the entrance during the break, just catching a bit of air. It’s an honest, no-nonsense kind of place that’s been part of this community for a long time.
