Ajay Mobile Fast Food - Sai Caterers

We are located in the Chandra Bhawan Building right on Curtorim Road in Margao. Ajay Mobile Fast Food started out as just a small cart on the side of the road, but now we have Shop No. 1 and 2. It’s a lot more space but it still feels small when the lunch rush starts. Sai Caterers is the other part of what we do, handling the bigger orders for parties and weddings. Amrut Nagar is a busy area and there is always noise from the traffic outside. Inside the kitchen, it’s even louder with the stoves going and the pans clanking. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. The focus is on the stove. My staff and I start early in the morning to get the masalas ready. We spend most of the day on our feet. Sometimes the floor gets a bit greasy or the sink gets backed up, but we just fix it and keep going. We don't have a big marketing plan or a social media manager. We just serve the food to the people who walk in from the street or call us for their family functions. It’s a lot of work and our clothes usually smell like fried onions by the end of the day. But that’s just how the catering business works here in Margao. We are just local people making food for our neighbors and whoever else stops by our shop.
