Siddhivinayak Caterers

We have been doing catering for a while now from our base at 319, St. Caitan in Merces. It is not a huge or fancy setup, just a practical kitchen space where we prep everything for the local events we handle. People in Ilhas Merces usually find us through word of mouth when they have a small family function or a wedding coming up. We handle the cooking and the serving part so the family does not have to worry about the stove all day. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there are multiple orders on one weekend, but we manage to get the food delivered on time. Most of our staff are local folks from around the neighborhood. We do not have a big office or anything, just the workspace where the magic happens. We cook the kind of food we would eat at home. It is mostly traditional stuff that people in this part of Goa like. If you walk past St. Caitan, you might smell the spices. We try to keep things simple and honest. We do not go for those fancy decorations much; we just focus on making sure the rice is cooked right and the curry has enough flavor. It is hard work, standing on your feet for ten hours, but seeing a clean plate makes it okay. We have had the same few people helping us for years. We are not trying to be the biggest in town.
