Zanelini Leatherwear

We have been operating out of 145, Okhla Industrial Estate for quite a long time now. The building is always a bit noisy because of the machines running, but that is just how it is here. Most of us at Zanelini Leatherwear spend our days surrounded by the smell of raw hides and the sound of heavy stitching equipment. It is not a fancy setup by any means. We have piles of leather sitting in the corners and workers busy cutting patterns on the big tables. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It is a lot of hard work and your hands get pretty dirty by the end of the shift. We do things the old way mostly because that is what we know. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of brown and black material that we have to sweep up every evening before locking up. It gets really hot in the summer months under the tin roof but nobody complains much. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders that come in. Most of the guys here have been with us for years and they know exactly how the leather should feel. It is just a regular place where people come to work and do their jobs without any fuss or complicated systems. We just try to get the pieces finished and packed into the boxes properly.
