Toshkhana

We are based out of A 250 in Shivalik. It is a fairly well-known spot in the area. Toshkhana is the name on our documents, but to us, it’s just the place we go every morning. The building is a standard size, nothing too big or too small. We have a few rooms where we keep our supplies and do the desk work. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer, so we keep the fans going. We don’t have a corporate handbook or a list of rules on the wall. We just know what needs to get done and we do it. Sometimes the phone rings a lot, and other times it’s quiet for hours. We like the balance. There is a small park nearby where some of us go for a walk during the break. Shivalik is a nice place to work from. We aren’t really interested in making everything look perfect for visitors. The shelves are a bit disorganized and the paint might be peeling in a corner or two. It’s a real place where people actually work. We don't use much jargon or try to sound more important than we are. It is just a business run by regular people who care about their daily tasks. We stay late if we have to, but mostly we stick to our hours.
