Newage Leathers

Newage Leathers is tucked away in Jangpura B, specifically in Office No-5/28. We are pretty close to the Rajdoot Hotel, so it’s easy to find if you know the area even a little bit. We’ve been working with leather for years now. The office isn't very large, and most of the space is taken up by samples and rolls of hide. It smells like real leather in here all the time, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We handle a lot of different items, mostly bags and smaller goods that people use every day. It’s not a glamorous job. My hands are usually stained or a bit rough from handling the materials and the tools. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in because leather can be tricky to work with. Some days are slow and we just sit and plan our next move, while other days are a total mess of packing and shipping out orders. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us trying to make a living in this part of town. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the lighting could probably be better, but it works for what we need to do. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or branding. Most of our focus goes into the actual products. We’ve been here in Jangpura for a good stretch, and the locals know where to find us. It’s a practical business.
