Our office is on the second floor of H-5A in the Kalkaji main area. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and the street noise definitely makes its way up here. Zak Trade Fairs has been around for quite a while now. We focus on putting together exhibitions, so there are always posters and old badges from past events lying around. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so carrying big boxes up can be a struggle. We’ve got a couple of rooms filled with desks and computers. It’s not a high-end corporate suite. It feels more like a workshop where we piece together these big events. We deal with a lot of international stuff, so sometimes the phones are ringing at odd hours. The staff here is pretty small, and we’ve all been together for a few years. We don't have a dress code or anything like that. We just show up and handle the bookings and the floor plans. Sometimes we get lunch from the local shops downstairs. The air conditioning is okay, but it struggles a bit in the peak of summer. We just keep at it, making sure the exhibitors are happy and the venues are booked. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy. We don’t have fancy signs, but people who need us always find their way up the stairs.
